You can book with us online by clicking the "Book An Appointment" button on our home page.
Yes, we are an appointment-only salon. With the time constraints required for braiding, it is extremely difficult for us to accommodate walk ins, or "squeeze in" appointments.
Hair is not included with your appointment, however we do have a beauty supply in one of our locations, that features all the same products that we have online. You are also more than welcome to bring your own hair in if you'd like!
If you're getting Mermaid Braids, we do ask that you bring in 1 pack of human hair for braiding (NOT WEFTED) in for your appointment, as we do not stock human hair for braiding in our beauty supply. We recommend 1 pack of any wave texture in 20 inches or longer. Feel free to reach out to us directly if you need recommendations on where to purchase your hair.
We accept cash, any major debit or credit card, and contactless payments via Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal.
All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
If you schedule a date, and decide to cancel after the initial 24 hour booking /deposit timeframe, the $25 deposit is then considered a cancellation fee.
However, if the salon has to cancel your appointment due to illness/emergency, we are happy to reschedule for a future date, with the deposit credited.
We book children, starting at 5 years old. Parent MUST be present through the duration of the appointment, and child must be willing to sit.
We ask that your hair is clean, and blown out. However, if you need to add a wash/detangling or blow dry services to your appointment, we can!
We recommend at least 3-4 inches of length, depending on your style choice.
Knotless is starting the braid with your natural hair and gradually adding in braiding hair. This technique is best for thicker hair, so the base of the braid can support the weight of the added hair. Starting with natural hair, knotless braids are more flexible, for limitless styling options from the point of installation. However, knotless braids tend to frizz faster.
If your hair is not as dense, or super fine we don't recommend knotless.
Traditional braids with a knotted start is the most common used technique for braiding. Starting with braiding hair at the root so that the natural hair is completely covered and protected. Traditional braiding lasts longer than Knotless.
With touchups, timing can vary client to client. Depending on the size and length of your braids or twists, as well as the length and density of your natural hair. If you'd like to schedule a touchup with us at your 2-4 week mark, please contact us directly via text, or call.
